To use Disteven, you must:

• Ensuring all information (like expenses, group data, etc.) you submit is accurate and lawful.
• Respecting others’ privacy and not misusing their data.

You agree not to:

• Use Disteven for unlawful activities.
• Interfere with the security or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform.

Disteven is a platform to help users:

• Split group expenses.
• Track shared payments and balances.
• Collaborate with friends, roommates, or colleagues.

We do not provide financial or legal advice. Disteven is a tool, and we do not mediate or enforce settlements between users. You are responsible for your decisions and any obligations you create with others while using the Service.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Disteven Technologies and protected under intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse any part of the Service without our permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach these Terms.
• You misuse the Service or engage in fraudulent behavior.
• We’re required to do so by law.

We may also discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disteven Technologies is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
• We are not liable for losses resulting from user disputes, misentered data, or external financial decisions made based on our platform.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be handled in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
